Bespoke Project – Dustpan and Brush made from Kauri
Wood…it’s so good, for so much, and not just furniture either. Occasionally we’re asked to create something bespoke for our clients and recently one of our favourite customers asked if we could possibly make a dustpan and brush out of wood. It was meant more as a crafts piece rather than one for common kitchen use. She really wanted to have wood – something she could cherish.
Plastic just doesn’t have that quality.
Here’s the finished product Earthwood made from recycled Kauri (apart from the bristles).
We always love a challenge so this presented a great opportunity and provided lots of fun in the creation. Our client was so thrilled she asked for a quote to make five more for her friends.
