Earthwood Stain Matching

Stain matching is a highly-skilled craft and Mark Biggelaar is sought out for this service when others prefer to leave it alone.
Mark is seen here using a tiny spray gun which holds perhaps a teaspoon or two of stain. He is delicately blending a wooden plug he’s had to insert into this frame so that it will barely be detectable when he’s finished.

At Earthwood it’s all about the wood, and how you stain it to match. It’s a useful skill when one piece of a suite is damaged and needs a new part, to be able to match the stain perfectly. Mark is well known for this particular skill which 40 years of experience has allowed him to perfect..
