This lovely American Oak roll-top desk was imported in a rather dishevelled state from the US.
EARTHWOOD picked up all the pieces and put it back together again just like Humpty-Dumpty. We then touched this beautiful piece of furniture up all-over where it was necessary and brought it back to its original condition including getting the drawers to run like water off butter. We finished the desk in a durable two-pack polyurethane which will protect the surface for many years to come.
Our client was delighted, and we loved doing it. Earthwood sees every style of furniture from elegant swish ultra-modern, to aged antiques, and we love them all, but there is something to be said about a classic with the time stamped all over it. They have gravitas.
